General Payment Terms
Article 1
These payment terms apply to all treatment agreements between the therapist and the client.
Article 2
The client agrees to the fee of € 90 (VAT exempt) per psychotherapy session and € 90 (excluding VAT) per couples therapy session. A (couples) therapy session lasts 60 minutes. The client receives and pays the invoice for therapy directly to the therapist. The fee for sessions starting from 19:00 is increased by € 20, bringing the total to € 110 (psychotherapy) and € 110 (couples therapy, excluding VAT).
Article 3
Appointments must be cancelled no later than 24 hours before the scheduled treatment time. If the client fails to cancel or cancels within 24 hours of the appointment, the therapist is entitled to charge the reserved time to the client in fairness and reasonableness.
Article 4
The costs declared by the therapist for the treatment must be paid by the client within 14 days of the invoice date.
Article 5
If the client has not paid the amount due within 14 days of the invoice date, the client is in default without any further notice of default being required. The therapist will then charge interest of 1% per month, or part of a month, on the principal sum for as long as the client fails to meet his or her obligations.
Article 6
If payment has not been made within 14 days of the invoice date, the therapist may send the client a payment reminder. A fee of € 12.50 will be charged to the client for sending this reminder.
Article 7
If the client does not meet his or her obligations within 14 days of the date of the payment reminder, the therapist is entitled, without further notice of default, to initiate collection measures or to have these carried out by third parties.
Article 8
All extrajudicial collection costs related to the recovery of the declared amounts are payable by the client.
Article 9
In the event of payment arrears, the therapist is entitled — unless the nature of the treatment does not allow it — to suspend further treatment until the client has fulfilled his or her payment obligations.
